Over half a century of experience in RF shielding, anechoic chambers, and antenna measurement systems.
Chamber Installation
Chamber installation begins with careful site prep. We have built hundreds of chambers, of modular pan-type construction, metal-clad particle board panels, even foil-covered gypsum board.
Systems Engineering Support
We can support your engineering team to let them stay focused on the design work:
Technical writing to DoD, USAF T.O., Army TM, and NAVAIR standards as well as IEC 1082 and other commercial standards
Proposal preparation support: RFP/SOL review, requirements analysis, compliance matrices, document preparation and review
CDRL support: Job Hazard Analysis, System Safety Analysis and reviews; Human Engineering Analysis, studies, and reports; Test plan and procedure documentation; we have prepared submittals IAW dozens of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and we can assist your team with submittal preparation and review
Site Supervision
On-site supervisors coordinate chamber work with on-going construction activities and ensure rigid compliance with job site safety regulations and local procedures.
Testing Services
RF shield testing: IEEE-299, MIL-STD-285, NSA 65-6
CTIA CATL certification testing: Probe symmetry and amplitude ripple measurements following Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-the-Air Performance
Anechoic material test, inspection, remediation: VSWR, inverse spherical nearfield testing of installed material and NRL arch screening tests of individual absorber pieces
We can also provide in-process testing of welded steel shielded enclosures with a test technique based on ASME BPVC vacuum box testing—confirm quality of RF welds before the shield envelope is complete. We developed this method for testing the Navy’s Advanced System Integration Lab (ASIL) chamber at Patuxent River, shaving weeks off the construction/testing schedule.
Chamber Maintenance
Preventive maintenance for your system eliminates costly downtime and disruptions. We offer annual maintenance contracts for supported systems. And we are available for on-call maintenance when necessary.
Chamber Relocation
Anechoic material removal and packing for shipment, chamber disassembly and packing, transportation arrangement, and reassembly at your new location. Or, we can disassemble and remove your decommissioned chamber.
